The alcohol facilitated sexual battery episode was unique in that it was the only episode I produced that broke from the vérité, reportage-style of reality television. This episode utilized reenactments along with studio interviews to spread information about “date rape.” Not only did I feel this was an important topic to feature in an area where college students would make up a large portion of the viewership, it was also nice to be able to do some directing that involved leading the action, rather than chasing it.
